Exhibition Overview

Florence Henri (1893-1982) was a French female photographer. Her talents included music and painting, and she maintained friendships with variety of artists, from the Bauhaus to the Futurists.

Her works have been highly valued for their geometrical structures, their innovative use of mirror effects, and modern portraits of women.

This was one of the first exhibitions introducing her photographs in Japan.
